Validations

With “Validations”, fields can be checked for their value and a corresponding message can be displayed.
This is possible at both header and position level.

Two examples are shown in the video.
Example 1: The Account field has been defined as a mandatory field. This means that the document can only be processed if a value is assigned to the field.
Example 2: In the Project field, the value entered in the uploaded ‘Abacus tables’ is checked and if the corresponding value is not found, the stored error message is displayed.

The following options are available:

• Mandatory field: The document cannot be processed without an entry
• Expression: store a variable value/formula
• Look up: look up in the uploaded ‘Abacus tables’ and in the ‘Account assignment references’
